How to use the Law of Attraction in your life – introducing the VIBES model.

How do you actually use the Law of Attraction? Like, actually use it?
If you are completely new to the Law of Attraction, head over to my post on the Law of Attraction: the Definitive Guide first. Go on, I’ll wait for you here 👌
In short, the Law of Attraction teaches that we attract into our lives the things we focus on. Positive, grateful thinking draws abundance into our live. While negative, lacking thoughts draws scarcity and inadequacy into our lives.
What you think you become
What you feel you attract
What you imagine you create
Buddha

The truth is that it’s less about attraction and more about alignment. I know quantum physics can get a bit much for some people, but the theory is that every possibility exists. Not every scenario or situation, but the possibility of every scenario or situation.
Ok, so we know what the Law of Attraction is. But how do we actually get that working in our daily lives? Or maybe you’ve been trying already but it just doesn’t seem to be working? Funny you should ask!
I would like to introduce you to the VIBES model. VIBES puts the ACTION into the Law of AttrACTION. See what I did there? 😉
What is the VIBES model?
- Visualise
- Inspire
- Believe
- Experience
- Succeed
VIBES is a model that teaches alignment; through visualising, inspiration and belief, we can align our minds, hearts and spirits and manifest our dreams into reality.
Francesca Jackson
It’s not tricky, but it is important to know and action every step. It only takes one step to be out of place, or forgotten, and you won’t see the results you’re hoping for.
Our thoughts, both conscious and subconscious, become our reality. And when we align our intellectual, emotional and spiritual selves to our preferred outcome and give no thought or attention to another possibility, that outcome will be manifested. So let’s get into it!
Visualisation
The very first step of any goal setting is to know where you want to be. It’s easy to fall back on common goals like “I want to be rich”, or “I want to travel the world”, but you need to take the time to think what that actually means to you and picture in your mind what that looks like to you.
Because rich means different things to different people and you can’t chase a goal that you haven’t defined. So take the time to imagine what your life looks and feels like once you’ve achieved your goal. What are you doing on any given day and how do you know you’ve made it?
Not sure what you want to do? Check out my post on how to define your everyday dream life to get started.
Inspire
While we visualise our dreams in our mind, we need to feel inspired in our hearts. Tony Robbins teaches that we are driven by two emotions – pain and pleasure, and we can use these to help us achieve our goals.
When the pain of not doing something, and the pleasure we will gain from doing it outweigh the pain of doing it, perhaps the fear of the unknown or the fear of failure, then it becomes an easy and inevitable success.
Focus on how you would feel if you achieved your goal. Imagine, for a moment, that you have already succeeded and let that feeling sink in.

Believe
Whether you believe in a god, or a higher power, the oneness of the universe or simply that you are the master of your own world, you need to believe that your vision will manifest.
It’s not enough to hope and wish.
You must believe it.
Know it deep down in the depths of your soul. Did you know the ‘amen’ at the end of a prayer means ‘so be it’? This is the moment we pass our ambitions and dreams to the universe to assist with our goals. You don’t need to worry whether it will come true, how it will come true – it just will.
Experience
You have created a vision in your mind that you will manifest and now is the time to take action to bring this vision into reality. Don’t be overwhelmed.
You only need to take one step at a time.
And don’t doubt that you will get there. The Law of Attraction is undeniable. If you believe it in your mind, heart and soul, your vision will become reality. Once you take the first step, just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Succeed
The Law of Attraction is not a magic wand, although it might feel a bit magical! It takes effort and consistent thought and action. When you achieve your goals take a moment to enjoy your hard work!
Reflecting on the journey you have taken will reinforce the method in your subconscious mind and help you achieve future goals even faster.
Celebrate, rinse and repeat!

I’m a firm believer that the more you reinforce your understanding of something, the better you can internalise the message, so I highly recommend you check out these Law of Attraction books too. They are my top three favs!
Let me know which step you have trouble focusing on? Or maybe the one you find the easiest? I know for me I have to put more effort into ‘Experience’. It’s definitely the step I have to focus the most on, to keep going in the same direction and not give up too early.
